The panel is moderated by Nikolai Klix (FI).

Saturday June 12

11:00-11:20:  Daily Dance: Shaping Space. Join Sally Davison (FI/UK) and Kadar Khristan (FI/SY) for the last in the series working with unpredictability.

11:30-13:00: One on One Mentoring Session with Jess Curtis (US/DE) which can be tailored for your practice via zoom

14:00-15.30: Inclusive Dance Pedagogies: going forward, backward or just standing still?  A panel discussion looking at cultural pedagogy and inclusion from school through to university education with Adam Benjamin (UK), Noora Västinen (FI), Eeva Antilla (FI) and Joseph Tebandeke (UG), with Kaarina  Koistinen (FI) as moderator.

19:00-20:00: ÉLIANE is a dance piece based on composer Éliane Radigue’s (b.1932) music and philosophy. The work is a joint effort of Teemu Mäki and Maija Nurmio. The dancers are Nurmio, Jonna Eiskonen and Maija Karhunen. Radigue’s composition I’Île Re-sonante (2000) and Teemu Mäki’s text All Is Music are heard in the performance. NOTE: If this performance cannot be live it will be live streamed.

14:00-14:20: Book Moves - Join with your family to create together with the characters from childrens books and special guests

18:00-18:45: Mirage (premiere) – after many sustained changes due to the pandemic and in the spirit of the times finally this work can be shared! Choreographed by Katarina Rampackova (SK) with Georgie Goater (FI/NZ) Noora Västinen (FI), Siiri Tiilikka (FI), and Sami Kekäläinen (FI), for small audiences on Zodiak Stage. NOTE: If this performance cannot be live it will be hosted via zoom.
