People and Us!
The essence of our artistic work is,
to bring life and not perfection to the stage.
Dance as an artistic form is a privilege of all people.
com.dance e.V. was founded in 2018 under the direction of Katja Gluding and Belinda Winkelmann in Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany) with the aim to bring contemporary mixedable dance pieces to the stages and to establish a normality of differences on the stages with a regularity of these pieces. The goal is also to provide a training space and a stage for people with disabilities who have an affinity for dance.
Under the concept “people and us”! we will bring three mixedable dance productions to the stage between 2020 and 2022.
2020/2021 EDEN – a piece about happiness and the opposite of happiness

With this film project com.dance e.V. dares the attempt to enable closeness despite distance and touchability through dance expression.
2022/2023 TRUST
intuitive, rational, in democratic discussion and voting, in weighing the individual need versus the common benefit, in clarity or discord, doubtful, goal-oriented, in retrospective of one’s own biography, in (trust)trust visible to the outside in space, in form, in dynamics, in quality, in dance, in material and music, met with all the unmanageability of the consequences… a dance performance about decisions
